After waking Saturday morning to a wet basement and a leaking hot water heater I’m grateful for
- being able to pay cash for a new hot water heater. Even though it hurt to dip into my emergency fund that I had just fully funded in December.
- already being off work on Monday so I was available when the plumber came to install my new water tank.
- not letting the incident ruin my whole weekend. I’ll be honest I was upset about it for a good part of my Saturday but in the past this would have thrown me into a bad mood for days.
