<p>Total calories for the day 1780-20 calories to spare. I had planned on having a yogurt instead of the protein bar so that would have saved me 70 calories but I forgot the yogurt at home. I had also planned on only have 2 beers after work but had three instead. I didn&#8217;t work out at all and forgot to take the stairs at work.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last time I used Weight Watchers to lose the weight, this time around I&#8217;m just going to track my calories and eat balanced meals. I&#8217;m going to start at 1800 calories for my daily max. When I go 2 weeks without losing any weight I&#8217;ll drop my daily calories by a hundred, never going below 1500 calories a day. If my weight loss stops and I&#8217;m at 1500 calories a day I will increase my activity level. To start I&#8217;m going to go to the gym 3 times a week for cardio and start using the stairs at work.</p>
<p>Food Journal for 02-08-10</p>
<ul>
<li>1/2 of whole wheat bagel-90 calories</li>
<li>1/2 TB of peanut butter-50 calories</li>
<li>apple-70 calories</li>
<li>chocolate milk-210 calories</li>
<li>2 clementines-100 calories</li>
<li>turkey sandwich with cheese and mustard-275 calories</li>
<li>yogurt-100 calories</li>
<li>2 cookies-130 calories</li>
<li>1 cup carrots-55 calories</li>
<li>1 oz humus-80 calories</li>
<li>protein bar-170 calories</li>
<li>chicken soup-300 calories</li>
<li>salad with tomatoes-50 calories</li>
</ul>
<p>Total calories for the day was 1680 and that was with wasting 210 on chocolate milk that I didn&#8217;t really need but I didn&#8217;t want to throw out. I totally need to get over that, it&#8217;s better to waste the food then eat it just because.</p>
<p>I went to the gym and did a cardio kickboxing class for an hour. It was very challenging, a few times during it I had to stop and just march in place but I didn&#8217;t quit so that was good.  It was hard to go in the studio though because I was the heaviest one there but I did and that makes me proud.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There it is  in all it&#8217;s glory. The most I&#8217;ve ever weighed. I can&#8217;t believe I&#8217;ve let this happen. About 6 years ago I lost 50 pounds and was down to 135, a weight I hadn&#8217;t been since junior high. I think I might have maintained that weight for about six months but then I started gaining about 10 pounds a year. Now that I&#8217;m about to embark on this weight loss journey for the second time I have confidence that I can lose the weight but I still need to figure out how to keep it off. I&#8217;m going to use the many months it&#8217;s going to take to lose the weight to figure out a way I can maintain the weight loss for life. I&#8217;m going to use my blog as a way to keep myself accountable to the changes I want to make in my life with regards to food and exercise. If I get up the  nerve I may post pictures of my journey.</p>
